Naomi Watts, the British Australian "J. Edgar" star, has been confirmed for the role of Princess Diana in the upcoming biopic "Caught in Flight." But with another film based on the late Princess of Wales in the works, rumors have surfaced concerning other blonde bombshells fit for the part. According to E!, British film producer Stephen Evans is working on a project based on the book "Closely Guarded Secret," written by Princess Diana's bodyguard Ken Wharfe.The project, titled "Diana," still has no definite front woman for the part. Theron’s name was initially attached to the movie, but her rep confirmed that it wasn’t true, saying “It’s completely inaccurate. She was never tied to the project.”

If you’re a diehard Scarlett fan, you’re out of luck. “There is no truth to this—Scarlett has never been approached about this project or read a script,” a rep told E! referring to the “Diana” project.
