Julie Brady, the sister of Thomas Edward Patrick, better known, perhaps, as Tom Brady - the New England Patriots' quarterback, has reportedly become engaged to Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis.

The engagement was reported by The Boston Herald, on Friday.
Youkilis, 32, also known as "Youk" and Julie - who is the second of Tom's three sisters - have been dating for about a year now. The couple met at a postgame party at Patriot Place near Gillette Stadium in 2011, soon after the New York Jets ousted the Patriots. The couple, moreover, attended the Super Bowl along with Brady's family in Indianapolis, Indiana last week.
The marriage will be Julie's first. However, it will be the second for Youk, who was earlier married Hollywood actor Ben Affleck's ex- girlfriend Enza Sambataro; the two were married in 2008 and split two years later. Meanwhile, Julie, who works as a school teacher in California, has a 5-year-old daughter called Jordan.

The couple is expected to move to Florida, where Youk will have spring training sessions at Fort Myers, scheduled to begin later in the month.

The Boston Herald has quoted one of Youkilis' friends as praising the new couple.
"He is really lucky. She is a really nice person but all the Bradys are nice people," said the friend.
