Worst Dressed at the 2012 Grammy Awards [PHOTOS]

The brightest stars of the music industry gathered in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards. It's also the time for these artists to look the best they could possibly be when they grace the red carpet.

The audience awaits what their favorite artists will choose to wear during the very important awards ceremony. Apart from noticing the best dressed artists this year, it's impossible to miss those whose attire appals. Here are the worst dressed artists for the 54^th Grammy Awards.

Fergie arrived in a neon Jean Paul Gaultier orange lace gown that draped on the floor. The look almost did make it, but the see-through effect of the gown which showed her black intimates didn't seem to match.

Nicki Minaj who is also set to perform that night showed up in a rather weird attire and an unusual escort. The "Super Bass" singer is channeling Lady Gaga with her choice of ensemble this year. She sported a red robe with a pope look-alike by her side.

Lady Gaga herself appeared with a tamer fashion choice than in past years, but Gaga is not Gaga without her weirdness. She sported an all black gown with a net mask that almost covered her face.
