Lottery officials announced that someone from Rhode Island, who played the enormous Powerball lottery game, won the $336.4 million jackpot.
The lucky ticket matched all five numbers. The sole winner, however, has not stepped forever to claim the prize, reported the AP.
The prize was the third highest in the Powerball lottery. Because of rising sales and a price increase from $1 to $2, the jackpot dramatically increased, nearly doubled, from $173.5 million on Feb. 1 to $336.4 million, reported the AP.
Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The winning numbers were 1-10-37-52-57. However, players can still win smaller sums of money if they match some of the numbers.
