Morning Platinum Market Report

February 14, 2012 9:03 AM EST

Like the rest of the precious metals complex, the platinum market has started off today under pressure. While the market received news overnight that some global Platinum production would remain sluggish during the coming year, negative news from the Euro zone debt situation was embraced this morning while a favorable German economic sentiment reading were partially discounted. Many traders feel that the US Retail Sales report may be the key data point of Tuesday's trading activity in platinum.
