U.S. Retail Sales

The U.S Department of Commerce released the retail sales estimates for January, where advance retail saels rose 0.4%, compared with the prior rise of 0.1% and revised to 0.0%, and worse than median estimates of 0.8%.

Retail sales excluding autos increased in January by 0.7%, compared with the prior estimate of 0.5% and revised to -0.5% but above median estimates of 0.5%, retail sales exclude autos & gas index rose by 0.6% from 0.0% and revised to -0.2% and above expectations of 0.5%.
