Whitney Houston has not even been buried yet and the battle for her money is about to heat up.

Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston's mother, allegedly believes Brown will attempt to cash on Whitney's money through his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. The Houston family is allegedly trying to stop Brown from getting too close to his 18-year-old daughter, believing he is broke, reported TMZ.

Bobbi Kristina is the heir to any of her mother's money.

Reports suggested that the Brown attempted to visit his daughter earlier in the week, but the family prevented that from happening, according to TMZ. However, had allegedly spoke with her and determined she is doing better since her mother's death.

My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better, Bobby Brown said in a statement to ABC News on Tuesday. We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.

Bobbi Kristina, who turns 19 in March, was treated for stress and anxiety issues on Sunday, related to the death of her mother at the Beverly Hilton the night before, according to Access Hollywood.

She was taken out of the Beverly Hilton in a stretcher and treated at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her. However we will get through this tragedy as a family, Bobby Brown told People magazine.

Houston's family members confirmed that the family does not want Brown to attend, however, they will not stop him because he is Bobbi Kristina's father, reported ABC. Bobbi Kristina is Brown's only child with Houston, although he has five other children.

The family allegedly believes that Brown is responsible for Whitney's downward spiral into drugs and alcohol and also contributed to his daughter's own struggles, reported TMZ.

Houston's family has a private funeral planned for Saturday in Newark, N.J., where she grew up. The service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church where she previously sang in the church choir.
