Following Demi Moore's meltdown, those close to her have remained mum on her emergency hospitalization and rehab admission. Yet a German site claims to have obtained a statement from the actress's daughter, Rumer Willis. Willis allegedly claimed that the "incident weighs heavily" but that her mother is in fact "on the mend". The media scrambled to determine the accuracy of the statement and have come to the conclusion that it is false.

According to E!, a rep for the 23-year-old claims: "She didn't make those comments."

Though the current state of Moore's health is unknown, Rumer's friend, Zac Efron, has commented on how Willis is coping with the difficult situation. He told reporters:

"She's doing OK. She's doing fine. It's tough, but I think she's all right."

Following her divorce from actor Aston Kutcher, Moore was rushed to the hospital after reportedly consuming nitrous oxide (laughing gas). The star is now being treated in a Utah rehab clinic. An eating disorder is said to have contributed to her physical deterioration. According to AZCentral, the 'Margin Call' star is "on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people.''
