The top after-market NASDAQ gainers Thursday were: SunPower, Applied Materials, Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Nanometrics Inc, Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Mattson Technology. The top after-market NASDAQ losers Thursday were: Qlik Technologies, Zix Corp, Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, FreightCar America, Unilife Corp and Maxwell Technologies.

Gainers:

SunPower Corp. (SPWR) stock climbed 11.9 percent to $8.37 in post market trading session. The company reported fourth quarter adjusted net income of $0.16 per share compared to $1.36 per share in the same quarter a year-earlier, but topped analysts’ estimation of loss of $0.05 per share.

Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT) stock surged 5.6 percent to $13.95 in post market trading session. The company reported first quarter adjusted net profit of $240 million or $0.18 per share compared to $484 million or $0.36 per share in the same period a year-ago, but topped analysts’ estimation of $0.12 per share.

For the second quarter, the company expects adjusted net income is to be in a range of $0.20 to $0.28 per share on revenue s of $2.30 to $2.52 billion, while analysts’ expect the company to report second quarter net profit of $0.16 per share on revenue of $2.08 billion.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ACHN) stock surged 5.49 percent to $9.23 in aftermarket trading session.

Nanometrics Inc. (NANO) stock advanced 3.17 percent to $19.88 in post market trading session. The stock has a 52-week low of $13.49, a 52-week high of $21.56 and $446.73 million in market capitalization.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (JAZZ) stock gained 2.86 percent to $50.73 in post market trading session. The stock has a 52-week low of $22.23, a 52-week high of $51.36 and $2.08 billion in market capitalization.

Mattson Technology, Inc. (MTSN) stock advanced 2.82 percent to $3.28 in aftermarket trading session.

Losers:

Qlik Technologies Inc. (QLIK) stock slumped 7.38 percent to $29.00 in aftermarket trading session as its first quarter earnings guidance fell short of expectations. The company expects adjusted net loss is to be $0.06 to $0.08 per share on revenues of $76.0 to $78.0 million, but analysts’ expect net profit of $0.02 per share on revenues of $80.26 million. QLIK’s fourth quarter adjusted net income rose to $0.23 per share from $0.14 per share in the same period a year-ago.

Zix Corp. (ZIXI) stock plunged 6.25 percent to $3.00 in post market trading session.

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (MDRX) stock plunged 5.68 percent to $20.25 in post market trading session. The company reported fourth quarter adjusted net profit of $47.6 million or $0.25 per share compared to $38.7 million or $0.20 per share in the same quarter last year.

FreightCar America, Inc. (RAIL) stock declined 4.79 percent to $20.28 in aftermarket trading session. The company stock gained more than 3 percent in regular trading session.

Unilife Corp. (UNIS) declined 4.71 percent to $3.64 in aftermarket trading session. The stock has a 52-week low of $2.82, a 52-week high of $6.04 and $282.52 million in market capitalization.

Maxwell Technologies, Inc. (MXWL) stock declined 1.43 percent to $20.74 in post market trading session. The company entered into an At-the-Market (ATM) equity offering sales agreement with Citadel Securities LLC, under which Maxwell may, from time to time, offer and sell shares of its common stock having an aggregate value of up to $30 million through Citadel.
