In the new film "21 Jump Street," Dave Franco stars as a drug-dealing hipster who lures high school students. The role should overshadow his appearances on "Funny or Die," in which he stared alongside his brother in "Acting with James Franco." "21 Jump Street," starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, centers on two clueless cops who go undercover as high school students in order to halt the sale of a dangerous new drug.
So will the genetically blessed actor be able to outshine his actor, writer, director, student, and "General Hospital" star brother? That remains to be seen. For now, just starring in one of the year's most anticipated films is enough.
