RBI's Reference Rate for Dollar Today

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at 49.0835 rupees and the euro 65.1705 rupees.

The corresponding rates of dollar and euro for the previous day (February 17, 2012) were 49.2128 rupees and 64.5849 rupees respectively.

Based on the reference rate for the US dollar and middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of British pound as against the rupee is 77.7973 as against 77.7513 on the previous day (February 17, 2012) and that of Japanese yen is 61.52 as against 62.20  the previous day.
