Chelsea Dealt Blow As Terry Ruled Out For Two Months

John Terry has been ruled out of the Chelsea squad for tonight's Champions League match-up with Napoli, with the skipper looking likely to be out for up to two months with a knee injury.

Andre Villas-Boas had said this week that he hoped to have Terry on board for the all-important European tie, telling reporters: "I will leave it as late as possible and make a decision on him after training in Naples."

But after waking up this morning in a considerable amount of pain at Chelsea's team hotel in Italy, numerous reports have confirmed that Terry will not only be out of action tonight, but for the majority of the rest of the season.

The England international is now to fly back to London this evening to have a small procedure on his leg, and Andre Villas-Boas will rely heavily on Gary Cahill and David Luiz to shore up the Blues' defence as they prepare to face Napoli's lethal attacking line up.
