Korean boy band Big Bang is back with all shades of Blue.

Just eight days before the release of their new mini album, ALIVE, Big Bang has unleashed the first music video and single, Blue.

The video was one of two MVs filmed in New York City some two weeks ago. The boys were spotted at John F. Kennedy airport, where a swarm of fans waited for their arrival.

The track is mellow, guitar heavy and melodic. The boys sing on rooftops, beside a rollercoaster and underneath the majestic Manhattan Bridge.

The music video for Blue comes just one week after YG Entertainment released teaser photos of the boys in their ALIVE gear. The big theme seems to be oxygen masks, an item that will most likely appear on tour later this spring.

Just one hour after the video premiere, #BIGBANGBLUE has been a trending topic on Twitter. The response to the video has been overwhelmingly positive so far.

Sigh . . #BIGBANGBLUE is just perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Big Bang is back. MY OT5 forever is back, wrote one fan.

This is not a comeback this is the rebirth of Big Bang, a new beginning for them and I'm proud to be part of it. #BIGBANGBLUE, wrote another.

ALIVE is scheduled for a Feb. 29 release date.

Big Bang will begin a 25-city tour on Mar. 2 with three consecutive nights at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium. The boys will go on to hit cities in North America, Europe, Asia and South America, all backed by concert promoter Live Nation.
