Lady in Black: Adele's Mysterious Black Outfits - Are They Her Lucky Charm? [PHOTOS]

British singer Adele has been, for some time, now a global musical sensation and the talk of the town in the industry. With eight Grammy awards in all and two Brits honours, she says she is "absolutely flabbergasted".

Over the past few years, we have seen her arriving for several red carpet events... and we've noticed something... she is always dressed in black... she always poses in black... and she always performs in black!

Why? Is that something to do with how successful she is?

For the 2012 Brits, for example, Adele arrived in an elegant black floor-length. She wore a custom Giorgio Armani gown and bright red lipstick for the 2012 Grammys. And, at the 2011 Brits, she came styled in a... black gown!

How does she explain her wardrobe colour?

"I'm like Johnny Cash," she says. "I only wear black," Adele was quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.
