The show had been dubbed "Demi Lovato: Stay Strong," and it will premiere on March 6 at 10 p.m.

"I wanted to share my story but I knew it had to be honest, it had to be real," Lovato said in a statement. If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I've succeeded."

In the opening of the trailer, Lovato admits that she "never wanted to be a role model," and that she "hated" being one. She then alludes to the demons that she faced before going into rhab including Bulimia, anorexia, depression, cutting, and more.

Lovato fist announced the show by tweeting a new tattoo on her left and right arm that read "Stay" and "Strong" respectively. Her tweet said, "Lovatics-I wanted to tell you FIRST about a special I worked on with @MTV. It premieres March 6th at 10pm!! #staystrong."
