Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich faced off Wednesday evening in Arizona in what is likely to be the last GOP primary debate before the Super Tuesday primaries on March 6.

The debate, hosted by CNN and moderated by John King, saw more interruptions, rebuttals and counterpoints than almost any campaign event before it. Ron Paul continued to advocate restricting government spending and foreign intervention, while going after Rick Santorum for being a fake. Santorum argued that he was the only candidate who refused to step away from the tough issues, and that he stood by his principles even when acting as a team player for the Republican Party.

Newt Gingrich focused on energy policy and policing the Mexican-American border, saving most of his barbs for President Barack Obama, while Mitt Romney advocated supporting the Syrian rebellion and emphasized his business background and his experience as governor of Massachusetts.
