T-Mobile Announces Samsung Galaxy S Blaze for March; 4G and Other ‘Rich Features’ Promised

Adding one more feather to its cap, the innovative Korean phone maker Samsung Telecommunications has announced the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze. And guess what? It comes with 4G wireless network technology. In a recent communication, T-Mobile has confirmed that the new Galaxy brand would be available in the market by the end of March 2012. According to the press relaease by T-Mobile, the handset is expected to cost around $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate card, with a two-year service agreement and would be on shelf purchase at T-Mobile retail stores, selected dealers and retailers nationwide.

Galaxy S Blaze features a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, a 3.97-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD videos, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, HSPA+ 42 compatibility and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

In addition, it would come preloaded with apps including T-Mobile TV, a version of the Yelp that will let users save profiles, and the T-Mobile 4GPro App Pack that bundles business-minded apps like LinkedIn, DropBox, Evernote and TripIt into a single package.

Commenting on the new Galaxy line-up niche strategy, Andrew Sherrard, Senior Vice President of marketing, T-Mobile USA said, “The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is loaded with rich features and services to keep consumers entertained and connected virtually anywhere they want to go. Paired with T-Mobile’s fast 4G network and our unlimited data plans, we’re making it easy for consumers to enjoy the benefits of 4G experiences at a price they can afford.”

Say "Android," and the next word that comes to mind or grabs any geek's attention is “Samsung Galaxy.” The company has a powerful brand image with its Galaxy line of phones and tablets. With the debuting Galaxy S Blaze 4G, we can just hope it complements well the increasing demands of the consumers to entertainment and connectivity.
