Oscars 2012 Red Carpet: Worst Dressed Stars [PHOTOS AND POLL]

The Oscars is always a star-studded affair. This year was no different. With a number of fashionable stars walking the red carpet, there was always going to be a ton of gossip about who got the right look and who didn't!

While some stars looked as enchanting and beautiful as you would like, some of them, however, struck out now and then. Surprisingly, even the most stylish ones do end up making the odd faux pas.

From Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock who wore a Marchesa creation to Emma Stone in a crimson Giambattista Valli and from Oscar nominee Viola Davis in an emerald green Vera Wang outfit to the sensual Penelope Cruz in an Armani Privé, these stars, unfortunately, didn't quite get it right... they missed something in their outfit or hairstlye or accessories.

Meryl Streep may have scored at the Oscars for her acting skills but that didn't help her avoid ending up on this list... for choosing a golden Lavine gown.
