All three major U.S. carriers regularly have short-term smartphone sales, but right now AT&T has the Samsung Galaxy S2 on sale for $99. The same phone is twice that on Sprint and T-Mobile. But Verizon also has some good phones for $99. The Droid Bionic and HTC Thunderbolt are both $99 and of course there is the iPhone 4. The difference is the Galaxy S2 is a much newer phone than the other three, and for $99 it beats them all handily. Of course, if you are not inclined to sign a two-year contract with AT&T, then this isn't the deal for you. $100 is still a lot of money for most people, and especially if they are buying a smartphone for the first time. They've likely never spent that much on a phone ever!

Let's compare these powerful internet devices (that are also phones) to see which is the best deal in this price range. With the added knowledge that another faster, shinier phone will be here in just a few months, we'll look at the whole phone and carrier to come up with the best plan. Start the slideshow to see why the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the best deal of them all. Let us know in the comments if you agree and why or why not.
