Alec Baldwin has a new stalker, and it's not the Canadian actress that was outside his Manhattan apartment over the weekend.

Late Tuesday night, the 54-year-old 30 Rock star took to Twitter to report that journalists from the New York Post had been camping outside his home all day.

Andrea Peyser, you are as bad a writer as you are filled with self-hatred. Go back to Langan's and bring a Strunk and White . . ., he wrote about the veteran columnist, who herself is most famous for covering scandals.

Cut to Wednesday morning, when folks from The Today Show arrived.

Outside my apt today, along side the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the Today Show . . . the television crew camped outside my apt said they were with the Today Show. #howthemightyhavefallen, Baldwin wrote on Twitter.

Baldwin then went on a somewhat hilarious rant about the Today Show, Peyser and stalkers, all while promoting his recent podcast interview with Kristen Wiig on his WNYC show Here's The Thing.

I haven't appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt? A story about stalking sure brings out thes talkers in the media. But, the Today show? he wrote.

This just in: Andrea Peyser is joining the cast of The Today Show, he continued.

With the sixth season of 30 Rock underway, and a January report that Baldwin had signed on to return next season, Wednesday's Twitter feed a la Baldwin hinted at something otherwise.

I think I'm leaving NBC just in time, he wrote, just enough to tease fans of the show and TV critics alike.

On Tuesday, Genevieve Sabourin, Baldwin's stalker, was released without bail by Manhattan Criminal Court, and ordered to temporarily stay away from the actor until May 14, when she is due for another hearing.

Sabourin, a 40-year-old actress from Montreal, made headlines over the weekend after stalking Baldwin on multiple occasions. Last Thursday, Sabourin showed up to a screening hosted by Baldwin at the Lincoln Center, which was followed by an appearance at the actor's home in the Hamptons. On Sunday, Sabourin was arrested outside Baldwin's Manhattan apartment on charges of stalking and harassing. Baldwin was not home at the time of Sabourin's arrest.

The temporary order of protection will also apply to Baldwin's new fiancé, Hilaria Thomas. The actor proposed to the 28-year-old yoga instructor earlier this month, just one day before his birthday. The two have been dating for more than one year.
