The second season of American Horror Story has been surrounded by mystery, but luckily for fans new casting information keeps getting leaked. Last week we reported that newly single Voice star, Adam Levine will be joining the cast for the hit FX show as one half of a couple called The Lovers. TV Line is now reporting that French actress Lizzie Brocheré will be joining the series in a major role.

Brocheré has been cast as Gia, a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot. According to TV Line, the new character will be a nemesis for returning actress Jessica Lange. The site is stating that a source is comparing the character of Gia to that of Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted.

Besides Jessica Lange, Brocheré will be joining other season one cast members Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Zachary Quinto.

Other information surrounding the new season has been kept very hush hush. Creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that the second season of American Horror Story will not be taking place in the Murder House. Murphy teased that the season, which is set to air in October, will be set in a horror institution on the East Coast.
