An anonymous bidder just acquired a piece of Hollywood history. Britney Spears' Beverly Hills home just sold for $4,253,000. Originally listed at $2,995,000, the lucky bidder will be living in the home that the pop star had her famous 2008 meltdown in. (No word if the house comes with a stretcher.)

The house, built in 2001, has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. While the size of the house alone guarantees privacy, the new buyer has no need to worry about celebrity house tours or paparazzi trying to get a glimpse of the 7,453 square foot Mediterranean villa. The Beverly Hills home is located in the very exclusive 24-hour Summit gated community.

According to Movoto.com, Spears' former home features a maids quarter, Viking kitchen appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a large breakfast nook. Inside the masters suit the new owner will be treated to the luxury of his and hers baths, as well as a toasty fireplace.

Outdoors the home has much to offer with the downstairs portion of the house opening up into the backyard. The spacious backyard features a pool and spa, all within a private and beautifully landscaped area.

According to the Realestalker Blog, the home was bought during Britney Spears' party phase in 2007. The singer originally bought the home for $6.8 million. The recent low pricing hoped to inspire a bidding frenzy, reported TMZ. A court hearing was originally scheduled to allow other buys the opportunity to overbid the $4,253,000 offer, but according to TMZ, Spears' conservators have cancelled the hearing.
