Coco Rocha is not happy with Elle Brasil.

The fashion magazine purportedly airbrushed the cover image of Rocha to make it look as if the supermodel was nude underneath an open, sheer dress.

Coco Rocha appears on the cover of Elle Brasil's May 2012 issue wearing an ornately detailed blue and silver dress with a sheer T-shaped panel from the collar bone down to the navel. Rocha said that, during the photo shoot, she wore a bodysuit under the dress so as to not cross moral boundaries regarding nudity that she wishes to uphold.

However, Elle Brasil decided to use a little digital alteration to remove any evidence of the 23-year-old's bodysuit. The final product looks as if Rocha is exposing her bare chest.

Coco Rocha tweeted on Tuesday, Why I'm not impressed with the photoshop on my recent Elle Brazil cover, and subsequently took to her Tumblr to respond to Elle Brasil's nude airbrushing.

As a high fashion model I have long had a policy of no nudity or partial nudity in my photoshoots. For my recent Elle Brazil cover shoot I wore a body suit under a sheer dress, but recently discovered that the body suit was Photoshopped out to give the impression that I am showing much more skin than I actually was or am comfortable with. This was specifically against my expressed verbal and written direction. I'm extremely disappointed that my wishes and contract were ignored. I strongly believe every model has a right to set rules for how she is portrayed and for me these rules were clearly circumvented.

Coco Rocha is known for her outspokenness and drive to defend her rights. Rocha is an advisory board member to the Model Alliance, an organization established to improve models' working conditions as well as a haven for open communication between women in the fashion industry, according to Fashionista.

Rocha has even spoken candidly about her candidness before.

In June, the supermodel sat down with Huffington Post Style to talk about social media and standing up for what she believes in.

In the fashion industry, it's so quiet, no one knows much, so when we do talk about it, people get super-excited. It's kind of my voice and my opinion -- so if there's a story out there that I don't think is fair or fit, I can say what I believe is right, said Rocha.

Coco Rocha encourages other models to open up about their feelings and concerns, particularly in regards to pressures in the industry.

It gets better for those who talk about it. So when I talk about it, people realize, 'She has a voice, she's going to say something, so maybe we should worry about that and worry about Coco's needs and wants instead of how she looks,' she told the Huffington Post. But the girls that don't say much, it probably still could be hard for them. But for me, personally, I've made it better for myself. So I wish I could do it for all the girls and maybe one day we all can do that. But I think it really is up to the girls to stand up for themselves and have that courage to do it, and it will all be okay.
