Virgin Group CEO Sir Richard Branson is going to do the impossible - be on board every Virgin Atlantic flight from now on. Or at least his likeness will be after Virgin Atlantic announced Little Richard ice cubes so Branson can chill with passengers.

Starting this month, the Branson ice cubes will be served to Upper Class passengers on Virgin Atlantic flights.

We're delighted to be able to offer our Upper Class passengers access to the newest, longest bar in the sky, and what better way to celebrate this than giving passengers the opportunity to share a drink with the face of our business? said Luke Miles, head of design for Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.

Richard Branson is too busy going on his latest adventure or overseeing his businesses to be on every Virgin Atlantic flight, but the ice cubes gives passengers the next best thing to having the actual CEO on board.

While Richard would love to be able to sit and enjoy a drink with all of our passengers, his schedule means that it simply isn't possible, Now he is able to join our guests 'in spirit' on one of the Upper Class Cabin's first flights as they raise a toast to their trip and the exciting times ahead.

The ice cubes were created using the exact measurements of Branson's head and have a level of detail not seen before in an ice cube, Virgin said.

It took six weeks for a team of four designers to create Sir Richard's likeness. They used detailed photographic techniques and laser scanning technology to make the Branson ice cubes.

The new ice innovation means all passengers will be able to enjoy some chill out time with Mr. Branson at the new bar - the longest of any airline - which has been designed to provide additional space and comfort for those keen to socialize while flying, Virgin said in a statement announcing the Branson ice cubes. The bar will also incorporate a raft of additional innovations including the fabulous new champagne coupe glass, enhanced mood lighting and a new seating system to facilitate the most comfortable social experience in the air.

Branson, 61, is one of the most colorful CEOs in the business world, whether it be Virgin Galactic, his ambitious project to allow ordinary folks to visit space, or his adventures around the globe in hot air balloons, sailboats, submarines, surf boards and helicopters .

Richard Branson has a net worth of $4.2 billion.
