Jeremy Lin may not be 100 percent, but that doesn't matter. The Knicks need their starting point guard back.

There's a 95 percent chance Lin will play in Game 5, according to Ric Bucher of ESPN. Lin hasn't played in over five weeks with a torn meniscus in his knee. Earlier today, Knicks head coach Mike Woodson was skeptical about how effective Lin would be on the court. But without Baron Davis, the Knicks desperately need a point guard.

Davis dislocated his knee in Game 4 and had to be carried off the court on a stretcher. Mike Bibby took over for the Knicks at point guard for the rest of the game.

Bucher is reporting that the Knicks are putting a lot of pressure on Lin to suit up for Game 5, even though he is not completely healthy. Woodson said Lin still needs to build up trust in his knee, and isn't in game shape after missing five weeks.

Even if Lin isn't in the shape he once was, he may be New York's best option. Mike Bibby is mostly just a three-point shooter at this point in his career, and backup guard Toney Douglas has struggled all season long. Woodson indicated J.R. Smith could see some time at point guard due to the Knicks injury woes.

New York is down 3-1 in their series with Miami. The Knicks play in South Beach on Wednesday night as the Heat try to close out the first round series.
