A lot of history has been made so far this baseball season.

First, Philip Humber threw a perfect game. Then, Jered Weaver pitched a no-hitter. On Tuesday, it was Josh Hamilton's turn.

The Rangers outfielder hit four home runs in Baltimore, as Texas beat the Orioles 10-3. Hamilton became just the 16th player to do so in the history of the game. Carlos Delgado was the last player to accomplish the feat when he hit four home runs for the Blue Jays in 2003.

Hamilton had one of the greatest offensive games of all time. He finished 5-5 on the day, with four home runs, a double and eight runs batted in. He set a new American League record with 18 total bases in a game.

The former MVP is off to an incredibly hot start in 2012, and is the early leader to win the award once again. He currently leads the AL in all three Triple Crown categories. Hamilton is batting .406, with 14 homers and 36 RBI.
