Iraq has bought 120,000 tonnes of white rice from Thailand at $488.85 per tonne, and 30,000 tonnes from India for $440 per tonne, the head of the Iraqi Grain Board said on Friday.

Grain Board Director General Hassan Ibrahim said both purchases were on CIF terms. Exporter LMJ International secured the order for Indian rice.
