The rooms at the East Coast asylum in season two of 'American Horror Story' are filling up. The latest star to be admitted to the Emmy nominated series is "Bourne" actress Franka Potente.

According to TVLine, Potente has scored the role of a "mysterious patient" at the institute for the criminally insane. The "Bourne" actress won't have a long stint on "American Horror Story" though, Potente is expected to only appear in a two-episode arc.

Potente's casting comes on the heels of "Step Up" actress Jenna Dewan's addition. Dewan, who is married to "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum, will find herself in the arms of a new lover during season two. The "Step Up" star has been cast opposite of Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine. Levine and Dewan will play "The Lovers," a couple locked up at the institution.

Season two of "American Horror Story" will take on a whole new story with a new cast of characters. This season's "Horror Story" will take place in the 1960's at an East Coast institution for the criminally insane.

Potente and Dewan will be joining fellow newcomers Joseph Fiennes, Lizzie Brochere, Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell, Chris Zylka, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos, Clea Duvall and as mentioned before, Adam Levine.

The newcomers to the series will join season one stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters.

Fans can pick up the 17 Emmy nominated season one DVD of "American Horror Story" on Sept. 25.

Season two returns to FX this October.
