On July 21, Kile Glover, the 11-year-old stepson of singer Usher, passed away tragically. Kile's mother, Tameka Raymond, claims that Usher did not care at all.

Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond are in the middle of a heated custody battle, after getting married in 2007 and splitting up two years later. They have two sons together, Nayvid and Usher Raymond IV.

According to TMZ, Usher's lawyers had asked the court to delay the next custody hearing due to his stepson's death. Kile was declared brain dead after being hit in the head by a jet ski while floating in his inner tube on a lake in Atlanta.

Usher felt the trial would cause "unnecessary stress and strain" for himself, Tameka and their two minor children "in the immediate wake of this tragedy." But Tameka Raymond's lawyer filed new documents stating that Usher's claims are false, reports TMZ, and that he had no concern for Kile while he was in the hospital.

"[Usher] visited Kile in the hospital only once" during his 15 days on life support, Tameka Raymond claims.

She also claims that she asked him to tweet a message to his 4,687,076 followers in support of Kile Glover while he was on life support, but instead, Usher put out a tweet about his breakfast.

As of now, TMZ reports that Usher does not want to be in court on their next scheduled date, August 13, but Tameka is fighting back, saying the only way she can begin the healing process is by putting this custody battle behind her.
