This season "Sesame Street' is bumping up its star power. The long running children's show will be hitting their impressive 43rd season this year, and plan on celebrating with a slew of stars ranging from funny man Steve Carrell to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

"Sesame Street" premieres their 43rd season on Sept. 24. Check out some of the exciting guest stars that will be hanging out with the cast of Muppets this year.

Halle Berry

Mom to four-year-old Nahla, the Hollywood actress is famous for her roles as Catwoman and Storm of "The X-Men" series.

Don Cheadle

Besides his work in the "Iron Man" and "Oceans" movies, Don Cheadle is also known for his humanitarian work in Darfur and Rwanda.

Amy Ryan

Known as Holly Flax from "The Office," Amy Ryan is also a mom to three-year-old Georgia Gracie.

Steve Carrell

Steve Carrell is very familiar with one of his fellow "Sesame Street" guest stars, the former Michael Scott of "The Office" became engaged to Amy Ryan's Holly Flax on the series. The star has two children, Annie and Johnny.

Zac Efron

The "High School Musical Star" and "Lorax" actor will be guest starring on the 43rd season of "Sesame Street."

Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm may have two children of his own as Dom Draper on "Mad Men," but the star does not share any children with his long time off-screen beau Jennifer Westfeldt.

Sonia Sotomayor

Sonia Sotomayor is the first Hispanic and third female justice of the Supreme Court. She has been serving since 2009.

Other guest stars on the children's educational series include Casey Affleck, Paula Patton, Melissa McCarthy, Eric Stonestreet, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Hyde Pierce, Timothy Olyphant, Maya Rudolph, Ed Helps, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Blake Griffin, Matt Kemp, Mario Lopez, Wendy Williams, Colbie Caillat, Train and Common.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new season will also draw from some pop culture favorites.

A spoof on "The Voice" and "Downton Abbey" will be featured, along with mash-ups of the Survivor song "Eye of the Tiger," and Train's "Drive By."
