Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has nine big endorsement deals with such brands as Speedo, Gatorade, Ralph Lauren and Gillette. But he's missing love.

"He goes out on one-night stands. He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go," Lochte's mother, Ike Lochte told Today.com last month.

But Lochte told USA Today his mother's comment was taken out of context. "I knew how the media was going to take it, and I knew what my mom really meant," Ryan said. "She's new to the whole media [experience], so she didn't really understand that they were going to twist it and make it bad."

Pictures recently surfaced of the swimmer leaving a London nightclub and in the backseat of a car with an unidentified female, and some thought maybe Lochte did have one-night-stands after all. But it turned out the young woman was his sister, Megan.

Apparently Lochte does want a meaningful relationship, as he later told E! News: "Yeah, I mean I definitely want a relationship. I want to give a certain someone my heart. I mean, I just gotta find the right girl."

Ladies in Los Angeles may have the best shot. He recently told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview that after the Olympics end this week, he plans to move there.

Meanwhile, Lochte's teammate and friendly rival Michael Phelps has been dating model Megan Rossee since January, an unnamed source confirmed to E! News.

Ryan Lochte has won five medals, including two gold medals, in swimming events in the London Olympics.

He also plans to return the Olympic games in four years in Rio, he told E! News.

"Yes. I'm definitely going another four years. You can count on me being in Rio, and you know what? If I'm still having fun in the sport then I'm gonna go for another four years."
