Last night at the VMA Awards ceremony, Chris Brown's girlfriend, Karreuche Tran, was a no-show, as he sat in the front row.

In many public appearances between the two, Brown is often spotted partying with a bevy of women as Tran stands to the side and looks at her phone. And earlier this summer, Brown deleted all pictures of her from his Twitter account, fueling rumors that the two had separated. Apparently, however, they are still an item.

But when Rihanna won the coveted Video of the Year Award, as she exited the stage, she and her ex-lover, Brown, kissed quickly and warmly embraced as Rihanna flashed a huge smile.

Rihanna admitted to talk show host Oprah last month that "He was the first love and I see that he loved me the same way. We were very young and very spontaneous. We ran free. We ran wild. We were falling in love going in at a really rapid pace and we forgot about ourselves as individuals."

She also noted that she knows he is in a relationship.

Last night, it did not seem like Brown's relationship was on her mind. Now, Tran has reacted to the loving embrace between the two. She took to social media website Twitter to express her opinion on how men should treat their women.

The model, who has been with Brown for over a year, posted a picture on her account saying, "Treat Your Girl Right."

Earlier she tweeted, "You can't expect the best when you're not giving your best."
