University of Newcastle's combined degree program of Master of International Business/MBA offers students to study the Master of Business Administration which is the general business discipline; also to study the Master of International Business, which is the specific international business course at the same time.

The Master of Business Administration program is designed to prepare students with a variety of strategic, analytical, and leadership competencies which will equip them for the ever demanding careers in business management, specifically in the corporate and public sectors. The combined program (Master of International Business/MBA) gives students skills in the core business areas like accounting, finance, organizational behavior, economics, marketing and management. Analytic and problem solving skills are cultivates through an applied understanding of the theoretical framework which is essential for working in today's complex work environment. Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a recognized Bachelor degree or Postgraduate Diploma or a recognized Graduate Certificate; or a recognized Diploma and two years work experience; or a GMAT score of 550.

Professional Accreditation

The Master of Business Administration is accredited by the Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA).
