Indian software provider GlobalOutlook has launched India’s first hosted Microsoft Office Communication Server (OCS), as a part of GlobalOutlook productivity online services (GOPOS).

GlobalOutlook’s hosted OCS is an addition to the existing offerings of hosted Exchange, hosted SharePoint and hosted mobile e-mail.

“Many small to mid-sized businesses are intimidated by the prospect of hardware expenses, need for technical expertise, complicated implementations and day-to-day management requirements. Setting up in-house OCS for a 100 user organization would be about 250% expensive than opting for hosted OCS, hence our unified communication solution services will help businesses of any size to streamline communications,” said Dayakar Puskoor, Chairman, GlobalOutlook.

According to the company, its hosted Microsoft office communication server includes comprehensive connective solutions to the enterprises.

“We were using some other tool for office communication that was very expensive and not having the great features of Hosted OCS offered by GlobalOutlook,” said ,Gowri Shankar, CEO, Singlepoint, a customer of Global Outlook.

The company also offers its partners flexibility to choose between white label program and co-branding which it claims is cost-effective and easy-to-deploy.
