FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Asian stocks are dropping after US retail sales decline against expectations and the Yen strengthening wich is hurting the Japanese exportations. USD/JPY has fallen below 98.50, EUR/USD is flirting with the 1.3230 level, GBP/USD is testing the 1.4860 support and USD/CHF has risen above 1.1400.
Almost all of Asian markets are falling, continuing Wall Street drop, along its Tuesday trading session after five days of increases. Japan's Nikkei are dropping 1,1%, MSCI Asia Pacific Index declines 1.0% and Hang Seng index, from Hong Kong, falls 2,1%.
USD/JPY is trading below 98.50 level, after falling 0.60% from the opening price at 99.02 to the currently 98.40. EUR/USD has fallen 0.38% from 1.3374 opening price to reach 1.3217, lowest intra-week low.
USD/CHF has risen 0.42%, from the 1.1373 opening price, to be traded at 1.1422. GBP/USD is testing the 1.4860 support again, after falling 0.40%, from the opening price at 1.4907, to reach the intra-day low at 1.4843.
