The opening of the Asian-session currency trading was not cheerful, as two South Pacific currencies started to decline as a result for the negative impact of the European-crisis news, where German Chancellor Angela Merkel excluded common euro-area bonds and added a bigger role for the European Central Bank in fighting the escalating European debt crisis.

Back to the trading, where the major currencies in the Asian session showed a minor fluctuation, where the AUD/USD pair is declining and currently trading around the level of 0.9690, after recorded its highest price at 0.9734 and the lowest level at 0.9683.

On the other hand, the NZD/USD pair is also declining and currently trading around the level of 0.7400, after recorded its highest price at 0.7419 and the lowest level at 0.7398.

Finally, the USD/JPY pair is unexpectedly gaining some earnings and currently trading around the level of 77.20, after recorded its highest price at 77.33 and the lowest level at 77.09.
