Pessimism spread in Asia after European leaders in their fifth attempt to draw a line under their debt woes and was not able to meet investors' speculation over the ECB role in fighting back the crisis, which in result led currencies in Asia to decline with the start of this week.

Starting with Australia, where the AUD showed a minor fluctuations against the U.S. dollar, where the AUD/USD pair is currently trading around the level of 1.0063, after recorded its highest reading at 1.0073 and lowest at 1.0028.

Moving to the NZD/USD pair, where it showed a minor fluctuation, and it's declining and currently trading around the level of 0.7626, after it recorded its highest price at 0.7630 and lowest price at 0.7606.

Finally, the USD/JPY pair is showing a slight fluctuation and unexpectedly rising, where it's currently trading around the level of 77.92, after it recorded its highest price at 77.96 and lowest price at 77.88.
