According to reports, game developers Ubisoft Montreal’s latest installment in hugely successful Assassin's Creed franchise - Assassin’s Creed: Revelations” - has released the Mediterranean Traveler DLC map pack, which is currently available, for free, on a trial basis. The new map pack has just gone live with six new and enhanced maps which hope to offer improved stealth-based gameplay.

As discussed by the developers previously, the new map locations – Jerusalem, Constantinople and Dyers will be joined by returning “Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood” locations such as San Donato, Firenze and Siena. The DLC also adds new Achievements and Trophies.

The maps can be downloaded via the PlayStation and Xbox Live networks. The pack is also available for PC gamers. The full download of six maps will automatically lock down after the three-day trial period.

The DLC can be purchased for $9.99 (on the PlayStation Network and for the PC) and for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, according to a Gamesradar.com report.
