Augme Technologies Inc., a technology and services provider in interactive media marketing, yesterday offered revenue guidance for its first fiscal quarter ended May 31, 2011, and reaffirmed its guidance for the full fiscal year ending February 29, 2012.

Augme estimates revenue for the first quarter of 2011 at approximately $1.2 million, an increase of approximately 325 percent from the $286,323 recorded in the first fiscal quarter ended May 31, 2010.

“A record first quarter is a great way to start our new fiscal year,” Paul Arena, CEO of Augme stated in the press release.

Arena noted that the total billings annualized revenue run-rate is approximately $8.4 million, and said that for the first quarter, Augme clients generated 50 percent more than for the fourth quarter, with first quarter estimates at roughly $150,000 of billings.

The company attributes its estimated results to its growing client base and increasing product orders.

“We continued to chalk up wins during the quarter, with several new large enterprise clients which have ‘household’ names joining our expanding list of blue chip customers,” Arena stated. “Also, we are proud of the growing number of repeat orders in our system which validates our services. Our patent protected AD LIFE™ mobile marketing technology platform is gaining traction as a ‘fully managed’ software-as-a-service (‘SaaS’) offering.”

Arena said the company is in discussions with several software industry leaders to establish a partnership for the deployment of a subscription revenue model. This reason, as well as several others, supports the company’s positive outlook for the full fiscal year.

Augme reaffirms estimates that recognizable revenue should be more than $16.0 million during the current fiscal year, which ends February 29, 2012. The company said it forecasts reaching positive cash flow during the current fiscal year.
