Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of Australia said in a report that the total official reserve assets stood at US$ 32.53 billion in March, up from US$ 31.14 billion in February. A year ago, official reserve assets amounted to US$ 33.36 billion.

In March, foreign exchange reserves increased to US$ 28.93 billion from US$ 28.26 billion in February, while gold reserves decreased to US$ 2.35 billion from US$ 2.44 billion in February.

At the same time, the reserve position in the IMF rose to US$ 628 million from US$ 621 million in the previous month.
