The Australian economy released its building approvals reading for the month of March, where the index increased by 9.1%, compared with the pervious drop by 7.4%, which was revised to -5.3%, while the expectations were leading to 5.0%.

Moreover, annualized building approvals retreated to -18.1% during the year ended March, compared with a prior -21.8% a year earlier, revised to -13.3%, while the actual reading higher than anticipations that estimated of -25.2%.
