Australia's commodity prices, in SDR terms, fell 2.4% month-on-month in March, following a 1.8% fall in February, the Reserve Bank said Wednesday.

In March, prices of coking coal, steaming coal and iron ore declined and contributed largely to the drop in commodity prices. However, prices of copper, beef and veal, and wheat increased in the month.

In Australian dollars, commodity prices fell 5% in March, after a revised 0.6% rise in the previous month.
