Ava Sambora, the 13-year old daughter of actress Heather Locklear and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, will make her acting debut under director Judd Apatow.

The teenage model is set to appear in a new comedy film by Judd Apatow that is set for release June 2012. Variety reported that Ava will make a cameo as the best friend Apatow's daughter, Maude.

"I'm going to direct a movie this summer, which is a spin-off from 'Knocked Up,'" Apatow told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the 2011 Silver Circle Gala on February 28. "It's about the characters that Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann played and all of the issues of their marriage five years later."

The movie is currently under the title "This Is Forty."

Maude, 13, and her 8-year old sister, Iris, play the children of Rudd and Mann, who is also their real mother and Apatow's wife.

"My daughters will be back," he added. "This is how I pay for their college education. I put them in movies and pay them SAG scale."

Rudd, Mann, Maude Apatow and her sister Iris portrayed a family in the hit 2007 comedy film "Knocked Up," with stars Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl.

Mann and her daughters also portrayed a family in Judd Apatow's 2009 comedy movie "Funny People," which starred Adam Sandler.

Others set to appear in the movie include Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Albert Brooks, "Knocked Up" actors Jason Segel and Charlyne Yi and Melissa McCarthy, who starred in the 2011 film "Bridesmaids," a hit comedy Judd Apatow had produced.

Ava Sambora made her modeling debut last year at age 12 at a fashion show for her father's White Trash Beautiful clothing line. The teenager is the only child of Richie Sambora, 52, and Locklear, a 49-year-old actress known for her roles on shows "Melrose Place" and "Dynasty." The couple divorced in 2007 after more than 12 years of marriage.
