Fans clamoring for the next “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer are being given a chance to watch it early. However, they’ll have to unlock it first.

Those following “The Avengers” Twitter account saw a tweet posted at 9 a.m. EST that asked fans to tweet using the hashtag #AvengersAssemble to unlock the new trailer.

The Twitter account didn’t say how many tweets would be necessary, but within two and a half hours, the fans already had the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer halfway to being unlocked, as #AvengersAssemble was trending worldwide.

Marvel Studios made it as easy as possible for fans to tweet out the hashtag. When the “Tweet to Unlock” button is pressed, a premade tweet is already available for fans to post. The post reads: “Together we can unlock the brand new @Avengers trailer! Tweet using #AvengersAssemble so we get it faster!”

Originally, the third “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer was supposed to make its debut during the series premiere of “American Crime” on ABC March 5. And the network will likely still show the trailer during the drama.

At least Marvel is putting out the trailer on its own terms this time. The first “Avengers” sequel trailer leaked online before its intended debut during “Agents of SHIELD” Season 2. The studio jokingly blamed the villainous Hydra for the incident.
