Marvel might release the teaser of “Avengers: Infinity War” sooner than expected.

On Sunday, “Infinity War” co-director Joe Russo appeared on Good Morning America and teased about the trailer of the anticipated film. “We’re hard at work on a trailer. I don’t want to spoil it for them, but stay tuned. They’re going to see an Infinity War teaser very soon,” Russo said. However, when prompted for days, weeks or months, Russo said that he can’t say.

According to CBR, the major photography for “Avengers: Infinity War” wrapped up last week at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. The filmmakers had completed enough footage to impress their audience at the D23 Expo. Following the said event, Marvel Studios will have its usual presentation at Comic-Con International in San Diego. Many are expecting to see the first footage of “Infinity War” in the said event alongside with other Marvel’s superhero flicks like Chris Hemsworth’s “Thor: Ragnarok” and Chadwick Boseman’s “Black Panther.”

As for the D23 Expo presentation, the trailer featured how Thor (Hemsworth) meets the Guardians of the Galaxy as he crashes into their windshield. The God of Thunder is wearing his gladiator armors, which hinted that the film that will be released in November will lead straight into the May film. Meanwhile, the Avengers, including Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Captain America (Chris Evans) sport a new look. Johansson is blonde while Evans has a beard and a new suit. The two superheroes are trying to keep a low profile as they were deemed war criminals after refusing to follow the Sokovia Accords in “Captain America: Civil War.”

Aside from the aforementioned, more characters will be returning to join “Infinity War.” The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) who was noticeably missing in the “Civil War” will be there so as Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany’s Vision, Sebastian Stan’s The Winter Soldier, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Anthony Mackie’s Falcon.

New characters will join the Avengers too, including Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange and his humble servant Wong (Benedict Wong). A number of characters from “Guardians of the Galaxy” like Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer) and more will be in the film too.

“Avengers: Infinity War” will hit the big screen on May 4, 2018. Its sequel will follow on May 3, 2019.
