D23 Expo is Disney’s biennial fan convention, and they really know how to get audiences excited. Marvel Studios highlighted “Avengers: Infinity War” Saturday and revealed tons of spoilers. The action movie is set to be the culmination of all the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and what they revealed at D23 makes it look like it’ll be an epic conclusion.

How The Avengers Meet The Guardians: The “Avengers: Infinity War” trailer (which still hasn’t surfaced online) revealed that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will meet the Guardians of the Galaxy when he crashes into their windshield, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) wants to just wipe the Asgardian off the window. THR noted that Thor wears his gladiator armor from “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is a good hint that the November flick will lead straight into the May movie.

Disguises: Team Cap are all war criminals after refusing to follow the Sokovia Accords in “Captain America: Civil War,” so it looks like they have taken new looks to stay under the radar. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) will be blonde and Captain America (Chris Evans) will have a beard and a new suit. Considering directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed that Steve is ditching his identity as Cap, it’s possible that this is the Nomad suit.

Spider-Man Advances: Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) spidey senses will tingle, causing the hair on his arm to stand up straight, and he’ll be wearing the Iron Spider suit. However, that won’t be able to save him from Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) attack. It sounds like Spider-Man gets his butt kicked in “Avengers: Infinity War,” and he’ll be apologizing to Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) again.

Loki Shows Up: Just in case Thanos wasn’t enough of a threat, Thor’s trickster brother is back in the mix too (which means he won’t be defeated in “Ragnarok”). Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is seen with the Tesseract, which holds one of the Infinity Stones that Thanos is seeking out.

Winter Soldier Wakes Up: Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) was last seen going back into cryostasis chamber in Wakanda at the end of “Captain America: Civil War.” He wanted to stay asleep until the Wakandan scientists could undo his brainwashing, and it looks like they’ll figure it out by the time Thanos attacks. Bucky is shown with a Wakandan army, io9 reports.

New Villains: A display revealed that Thanos won’t be working alone. He apparently has plenty of children aside from Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana). Though comic book fans know them as the Black Order, “Avengers: Infinity War” will introduce this group as the Children of Thanos. Judging from the statues, it seems that Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian (also known as Black Dwarf) and Proxima Midnight will be fighting for the dark side.

Thanos’ Strength: The villain is the biggest threat yet, so he can’t just toss some cars around like other bad guys. In the trailer, Thanos reportedly seems to break off parts of a planet (seemingly a moon) to throw at the Avengers.

“Avengers: Infinity War” hits theaters May 4, 2018.
