Months after reconciling her differences with Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks is back to starting feuds with other female rappers. The “212” hitmaker targeted Remy Ma over the weekend, and her swipe resulted to a another online battle between two hip hop artists.

On Sunday, Banks took to Instagram to call out Remy Ma for the music she put out in the wake of the latter’s feud with Minaj. “Remy — the hottest things you’ve released since you’ve been out of jail are Nicki Minaj love letters and she’s still miles more important than you,” Banks wrote, according to a screenshot of the artist’s original post as shared on Instagram by The Shade Room.

Banks appeared to be taking jabs at Remy Ma over her statements during her sit-down interview on “Ebro in the Morning.” Papoose’s wife apparently downplayed the efforts of other female rappers when she said, “When I cam home it was nothing. It was tumbleweeds blowing through as far as female artists is concerned.”

Banks was not happy with the “Love & Hip Hop” star’s statement so she also degraded Remy Ma’s work. “‘CHICHI’ is hotter than ANYTHING you’ve put out since you left jail,” Banks said, referencing her 2017 song “Chi Chi.” “Your obsession with Nicki Minaj is VERY UNHEALTHY. YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT TO FEMALE RAP I’M NOT SURE WHO LIED TO YOU AND TOLD YOU … You tried coming for Nicki and failed miserably now all of female rap is responsible for the tumbleweeds NICKI PAID YOU?”

For some reason, however, Banks decided to change the caption of her Instagram post attacking Remy Ma. In her updated post, Banks said that Remy Ma needs to step up her game because she’s releasing dated music. She also pointed out that it’s unfair for Remy Ma to use her platform as a reality TV star to make statements about female rap when she hasn’t “done a single thing to move the cultural needle” since she got out of prison.

“It is not 2000… battle rapping is dead. Gun clapping is not chic.. you are struggling to keep up with the rest of female rap and it’s time you seriously leave the Nicki Minaj subs and disses at home. No more auntie antics in 2018… for arts’ sake,” Banks stated.

Unsurprisingly, Remy Ma didn’t let Banks get away with the things she said. The “All The Way Up“ rapper shut down Banks by uploading screenshots of alleged old text messages that detail how Banks really wanted to collaborate with Remy Ma in the past and how she also dissed Minaj at the time. “I’m officially airing out ALL y’all chicks that was on MY line heavy when I touched down & now all of a sudden got amnesia,” Remy Ma captioned her post, which she has since deleted from her account.

Banks did not respond to Remy Ma’s jab, but she did upload a video clip of a live performance she did in front of crowd. She then grabbed the chance to subtly diss Remy Ma by captioning her post: “FEMALE RAP IS ALIVE AS PROSPERING HONEY.”
