Rapper Azealia Banks has accused actor Russell Crowe of verbally and physically assaulting her at a party during the weekend.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, the outspoken American rapper said the New Zealand-born actor called her a n****r, according to Metro. Banks, 25, said Crowe, 52, “choked and spat” on her before “[throwing her] out.”

“To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” said Banks in her post, according to the report. “Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time.”

Banks also said that men in the room did not restrain Crowe from attacking her.

“The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today,” she said.

In another post on Facebook, also now deleted, the rapper said, “Just feel so low and mishandled and alone and f*****g depressed right now. I wish I had someone to beat him up for me.

In a follow-up post, which can still be seen on her Facebook page, Banks said, “And just weak as f**k man. I want to f*****g die.

Crowe, who has been involved in a number of altercations in the past, has not addressed Banks’s allegations on social media.

The rapper’s fans, meanwhile, expressed their support for her.

“Most people wouldn't even have the balls to publicly call him out, so thank you for keeping it real & exposing this loser's disgusting behaviour. Grow from this experience & you let karma do the rest. You're amazing Z, ” said one fan.

Another fan, meanwhile, said Banks should hire more security personnel.

“Gurl, I think this whole thing, is a wake up call to get some more security/people to protect you,” the fan said.
