Azimut 64, the next gen take on the popular flybridge yacht Azimut 62, is all about sleeker, sportier design and elegant finish. The whole design of the new flybridge is well balanced and space has been used optimally. It has curvy salon windows and swept back arch with tinted mirror finish adds a fresh spunk to the traditional flybridge design. The hull, and rest of the structure is made of fiberglass and in carbon fiber, which make this new launch sturdier yet lighter in the hull. This means that the two 1150 hp Caterpillar engines are able to give better performance at 33 knots and save on fuel consumption.

It has double helm seat that ensures complete visibility. The 64 has Easy Docking System allows for joystick manoeuvres and its Seakeeper Gyro system reduces roll which means smoother sail. The aft section which is open means barbeque, sunning, and socialising. The cockpit or the bimini in the 64 has excellent sun protection without stopping the air flow, which means you can spend time on deck without getting scalded even in the hottest of days.

What is striking about this new version of Azimut is the way space has been optimised. The lower deck has been made really spacious through innovative design of the structures. The passageways have been designed so that there is a light and airy feel to the interiors. The 360-degree windows in the yacht mean that there is abundant natural light. The suites below are a study in understated luxury. The master suite has big hull windows that bring in the brightness, and has an en-suite shower in a separate room, a small dining area and two sofas to lounge in. The VIP stateroom in the bow is palatial in size and has a separate bath, and innovative luggage storage system.

The crew cabin design in the 64 is equally spacious and makes for comfortable stay. The space has been optimised so that extra guests can be accommodated in the crew cabin. The interiors complete with soft diffused lighting, oak paneling and lacquered furniture, marble counter tops speak of comfort and luxury. It is a sail worth going on.
