Chris Soules is down to his final two women on “The Bachelor.” The 33-year-old Iowa farmer has been on an emotional roller coaster this season, meeting 30 beautiful contestants and saying some painful goodbyes. Monday’s episode 9 was no different. Chris admitted he was falling in love with Kaitlyn, Whitney and Becca – yet when push came to shove, he said goodbye to Kaitlyn.

Although his elimination of Kaitlyn, a 29-year-old dance instructor from Vancouver, Canada, was heartbreaking, the main focus of the episode was Becca entering the fantasy suite -- and revealing to Chris that she’s a virgin. Becca’s news caught him off guard. The bachelor was silent for a few moments as he pondered how to handle the situation.

“Never easy to respond to that,” he finally admitted. “But I respect that in a lot of ways.”

The pair spent the night in the fantasy suite, without cameras of course. Although fans don’t know what happened, Chris revealed the next morning that he was “more confused than ever.” The pair got to talk during the rose ceremony, and Becca ended up receiving a rose. But what exactly happened? And is Chris truly OK with Becca being a virgin? He opened up about what happened on the “Bachelor” blog for People magazine.

“When Becca told me that she’s a virgin I was a bit speechless because it isn’t something you hear from people every day,” Chris confessed. “There is no question that being a virgin is a personal choice Becca made, and I respect her for making that choice.”

Chris continued in the blog that he wasn’t surprised by Becca’s reveal. Between their delay in kissing and her family’s discussions of Becca's minimal relationship history during the hometown dates, the bachelor explained that it all made a lot more sense.

“Obviously sex is an important part of a relationship, and I’m not a virgin,” Chris added. “Waiting until marriage was never part of my plan. But that doesn’t mean that my future wife has to share that philosophy. Becca being a virgin was simply not a deal breaker for me. If the chemistry is there, that’s all that matters.”

What did worry Chris was the fact that Becca only “thought” that she was falling in love with him. She also told Chris that she wasn’t ready to pack her bags and move to Arlington, Iowa. It was those two things that made the bachelor uneasy after their fantasy suite date, which is why he talked to her before the rose ceremony.

Although the two managed to clear things up, will everything continue to go smoothly? Becca still has to meet Chris’ family …

“The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” will air on ABC on Monday, March 2. Chris’ decision between the final two women – Whitney and Becca – will air the following week on Monday, March 9.
